A family story
It is in the heart of the fabulous village of Puligny-Montrachet that the Moingeon family has built its history over the generations.
In 1962, Yveline Moingeon married Claude-Clair Gacon who, himself from Burgundy, had discovered a passion for working with wine.
After their marriage, they took charge of the vines which had been entrusted to care of cousins from the Moingeon family from Saint-Aubin. Yveline and Claude-Clair thus created the Domaine and entwined the Gacon name with the family’s wine growing history.
In 2012 their eldest daughter, Flavie, decided to carry on the winegrowing tradition.
She then took over the management of the Domaine. The Domaine Gacon-Moingeon has been rooted in the culture and passion for wine for decades, passing on precious know-how.
The Domaine’s family house is located in the heart of the village of Puligny-Montrachet. You are invited to come and taste the finest vintages, an intimate experience for lovers of Puligny-Montrachet wines.
