The vine makes the wine,

A very fine harvest, with bunches of golden-yellow Chardonnay grapes, ready to be sent to the press to produce one of Burgundy's finest crus: Puligny Montrachet.

Good wines can only be made from good grapes!

We cultivate our vines in the traditional way (ploughing the soil, rational treatment, short pruning and de-budding).

We work the vines using integrated viticulture methods.

We keep to a strict minimum any work likely to have a negative impact on the environment, favouring mechanical tillage, deep ploughing without weedkillers and using natural composts, always anticipating choices and decisions as far as possible. Annual monitoring of plantation management also guarantees the quality of the wines and consistency in production.

The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand.

This is the best way to keep the grapes intact until they reach the press. There, gentle pneumatic pressing preserves the “primary aromas” coming directly from the grape berry. The must is then settled for 24 hours in vats.
