les meix

Puligny-Montrachet

The estate produces grapes from 5 plots with the Puligny-Montrachet appellation (Puligny Village).

However, we only mature and keep for our customers wines from 2 parcels renowned for their fine, full-bodied character , “Les Meix” and “Les Baudrières”.

“Les Meix”

“Les Meix” is a parcel that has been in the family for over a century. Slightly more robust than Les Baudrières, Les Meix is a pure expression of the Puligny-Montrachet appellation.

A golden colour with green tints, which become more intense with age.
Its bouquet combines hawthorn, apple, hazelnut, amber and lemon, with lactic aromas (butter, brioche). On the palate, the delicacy and complexity of the gourmet aromas, combined with the purity of the minerality, give this wine its typical roundness.

The nose brings together hawthorn, ripe grapes, almond paste, hazelnut, green apple and lactic (butter, brioche), mineral (flint) and honey aromas. The palate is well-balanced, offering great aromatic complexity combined with a refined style.
